We are a 100% volunteer-run/breed-specific rescue group that specializes in the Maine Coon Cat breed. We rescue Maine Coon Cat / Kitten mixes from shelters and unwanted situations. On occasion, we rescue purebred (PB) Maine Coon Cat / Kitten(s). In addition, all of our cats are lovingly cared for in foster homes until they are placed into their “furrever” homes. We are a close-knit group who all work together to make adoptions happen as quickly as possible, and to ensure a happy ending for the coonie and the new adopter.

We breed 100% American Maine Coon kittens, paying close attention to Pedigrees, health history, and genetics.
Maine Coon cats are wonderful cats for all households. They live in harmony with children, other cats, dogs, and adults. They’re known as being “dog-like” since they play fetch and love the water.
Pet Adoption Home is a breeder with a small cattery in United States of America. With only a few breeding cats and a limited number of kittens for adoption each year, we are able to produce healthy, well-socialized beautiful cats for you to enjoy as part of your family.

Maine Coon Colors and Patterns Produced at pet adoption home!
Rich, Classic Colors
The Maine Coon comes in almost every color you can think of. You’ll find some breeders working with a “rainbow” of colors, and others who tend to niche down to specific shades.
We put an emphasis on producing rich, classic colors such as red, white, and black. There’s also plenty of bi-colors as well. Occasionally, we produce smokes and silvers but its not our focus.
You’re sure see more silvers and smokes in 2024 with the addition of our black silver male (Tank).
The beautiful profile of the Maine Coon is one of the biggest features that is very important to us, along with long tails, non-matting coats and excellent temperaments.

What is a Maine Coon?
A Maine Coon is known as one of the the largest domesticated cat in the world. They’re they oldest natural cat breed native to America. They come dressed with a long, thick coat that is shaggy and uneven. They have an incredibly friendly personality which is what makes them a wonderful pet for nearly everyone.
Maine Coon cats are commonly referred to as the cat with the dog personality, since it loves to hang around its humans, and will also play fetch and watch out of the windows when you pull into the driveway. They make a wonderful companion cat for people of all ages, and do tend to better with a feline friend to play with and do cat stuff.
If you love to hear the chirping sounds that a cat can make, then the Maine Coon is the perfect cat for you. They’re full of trills when they’re happy and chirps when they spot prey. Both of which is music to a human’s ears. Whether they’re meeting you in the kitchen for lunch, or saying hello when you come home from work, they love to use their voice.
